Youth President's Message:

Hello Everyone,

                I would like to start by thanking our youth advisor, Shannon Whitney, for all of her hard work and support of the youth. Not only this year, but in all the years past as well. I would also like to send a thank you to all who helped to make the 2010 show season  so successful. I think that I can speak for everyone when I say it was a great year full of fun, friendship, and of course competition and bonding time with our wonderful horses.
As the 2011 season is fast-approaching, I hope that this year will be even better than the previous. I am very fortunate to be serving as the Youth President for such a friendly and motivated club, and my goal is to continue to build up the youth portion of the NYPEA. In order to do so, youth class entry fees at the North East Gold Challenge will continue to be free. All are welcome to participate in any of the number of upcoming fundraisers as well. The youth segment serves an important role, as they will someday be the future of both the club and the breed. Shows, as well as other NYPEA events, provide a wonderful atmosphere for the younger generation to learn and grow together as they share their love of horses.
