Year end Grand & Reserve awards given in each class as well as overall for each division-Youth 14-18, Youth 13&U, Open Sr., Open Jr., Amateur, and Novice Amateur. Awards for youth and amateur will be based on horse/rider combinations

There is no separate nomination fee to pay. $2.00/judge/horse will be added to your show bill each time you show. This is part of your PHBA/NYPEA fees.

* With the exception of weanlings, you must show under at least 7 judges and receive at least one point based on the NYPEA point system in that class to receive a year end award for that class.

The Open Over-all High Point award requires at least one halter/color point and at least one riding point. The points will be based on the NYPEA point system.

***Please note-NYPEA has modified its point system based on exhibitor suggestions. Points will follow a 6-5-4-3-2-1 format based on the number of horses entered in each class. For example, in a class of 2 horses the first place horse would get 2 points and the second place horse would be 1 point.
Horses standing grand champion at halter will receive one (1) more point than any other horse in his/her sex division, regardless of age. Horses standing reserve champion halter will receive the same number of points as the largest class in his/her sex division, regardless of age.
